Aerial view reveals extensive mining damage to mountain in the Philippines

A vast stretch of mountains was stripped bare by mining operations, leaving a massive scar across the landscape in the Philippines.

Aerial footage captured by Rufino Nicolas Jr from a passenger plane shows an enormous section of exposed earth cutting through the mountain range as the aircraft flies over Toledo City, Cebu on June 21.
