China Coast Guard hits Philippines ship with water cannons in disputed waters

The China Coast Guard (CCG) fired a water cannon at a Philippine ship as tensions flared over disputed territory in the South China Sea.

Footage shows CCG vessel 3302 aiming a water cannon at the Philippines' BRP Datu Dumangsil as it sailed through the Bajo de Masinloc area - a resource-rich reef around 140 miles off the Philippine province of Zambales - in the early hours of July 23.
