Firefighting aircraft seen battling wildfire scorching 2,200 hectares in north eastern Spain

This is the dramatic moment firefighting aircraft swooped over a massive wildfire that scorched more than 2,200 hectares of woodland in north eastern Spain.

Footage shows a Canadair CL-415 Super Scooper amphibious firefighting aircraft skimming over the smoke-filled landscape as crews battle the fast-moving blaze in the Les Gavarres area near La Bisbal d'Emporda.
