Divers join rescue mission to save seven villagers trapped in Laos cave
Published date: Tue, 26 May 2026 10:50:57 +0700Divers from Thailand joined the rescue mission to save seven villagers trapped inside a flooded cave in Laos after flash floods cut off access to the underground site.
Experienced underwater rescuers Mikko Paasi and Norrased Palasing, who took part in the 2018 Tham Luang cave rescue in northern Thailand, arrived at the site on Monday to assist in the operation.
