Researchers have found that humpback whales use bubble-net feeding to survive and recover in the northeastern Pacific.
A new study from the University of St Andrews claims to show that whales rely on this socially learned, cooperative hunting method, in which they blow clouds of bubbles to trap schools of small fish, allowing the group to feed together.
