Sirens were sounded to alert residents as a river swelled during Super Typhoon Ragasa in the Philippines.
The flood warning device automatically went off as the Chico River rose in Bontoc town and threatened to spill over into nearby homes in Mountain Province at 3 pm local time on Monday.
