Crowds seen at India bathing festival shortly before stampede deaths

Tens of millions had gathered to take a holy dip at the Maha Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, on Wednesday, January 29, when chaos erupted at around 1:30 am.
