Authorities confirmed it resumed activity on Thursday afternoon, January 2, more than 24 hours after Shamsud-Din Jabbar, 42, a former US Army veteran from Texas, drove a Ford pickup truck into a crowd of New Year's revelers, killing at least 14 people and injuring around 30 others.
