Car floats in flood as Super Typhoon Gaemi batters the Philippines

Footage shows a red sedan swept away in a torrential flood in Meycauayan town, Bulacan province, as super typhoon Gaemi battered the Philippines on July 24. The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council said on Thursday that at least 14 people were killed as two storms and an intensified southwest monsoon pummeled the disaster-prone country this week.

Gaemi has made landfall in northeastern Taiwan on July 25, killing at least two people and injuring hundreds more.
