Salvage crews used explosives to clear a section of the collapsed Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore, Maryland, on May 13.
The delicate manoeuvre was the latest part of the operation to fully re-open the busy shipping channel. Crews said the targeted demolition and cutting were specifically aimed at the portion of the bridge resting on the port side of the bow of the M/V Dali.
