Taiwan earthquake rescue teams demolish damaged buildings
Published date: Thu, 04 Apr 2024 11:33:59 +0700Authorities have been working through the night to demolish buildings in Hualien, Taiwan, that were damaged by an earthquake that killed at least nine people on April 3.
Rescue teams are searching for missing residents with more than 1,000 believed to have been injured in the natural disaster. Officials said some 127 people are trapped in collapsed tunnels and on mountainous roads along the rugged coastline.
