A female teacher amazed people by using a heavy sledgehammer to break thick ice inside a dorm bathroom.

The teacher was returning to school in Garze, situated about 13,000 feet up in Sichuan, south-western China, after the winter break when she discovered that the water pipes in the dorm had frozen and burst, with the inside encased in solid ice.
