A car driver narrowly escaped being crushed when a lorry collided with a tree on a slippery snow-covered road.

Surveillance camera footage showed the tanker lorry driver losing control, and skidding on the icy road before hitting a tree in the city of Shenyang in Liaoning, China, on January 31.
