US launches strikes on Iranian-backed Houthi targets

The coalition strikes were aimed at 36 targets including weapons storage facilities, missile systems, radars, and air defense systems across 13 areas in Yemen in response to the Houthi attacks on international vessels transiting the Red Sea.
