HMS Diamond Warship downs Houthi drone in the Red Sea

The UK's Royal Navy's Type 45 destroyer, HMS Diamond, successfully intercepted and destroyed a Houthi drone in its ninth drone engagement since arriving in the Middle East.

The recent encounter took place in the Gulf of Aden near Yemen, where the Portsmouth-based warship detected a drone moving from land toward the ocean on the night of Saturday, January 27.
