Russia says its Black Sea fleet safely neutralised submerged anchor mine
Published date: Fri, 26 Jan 2024 16:38:18 +0700The Russian Black Sea Fleet's minesweeper responded to mine threats from Ukrainian activities, conducting a successful reconnaissance search in critical Black Sea shipping routes on January 23, according to the Russian Ministry of Defence.
The crew efficiently identified an anchor mine using advanced hydroacoustic stations and a modern remotely controlled underwater drone, the Russian MoD said.
