Flames erupt as three friends cook meal over open fire in China

A trio of friends nearly had their faces burned off during an explosion as they were cooking a meal over an open fire and sat close to the flames.

CCTV footage shows the three friends, Mr Zhao, cooking lamb soup on a cement floor in a courtyard in the town of Taizhou, in Zhejiang, China, on the afternoon of January 10.
