Celtic fans waved Palestine flags during a moving rendition of You'll Never Walk Alone before their Champions League clash against Atletico Madrid on Wednesday evening.

The Scottish supporters said they felt a bond with those in the region, which has been locked in a drawn-out religious and territorial conflict with Israel over many years. Israel is currently attacking Gaza in response to Hamas assaults on October 7.
