Police clashed with protesters as violence continued to escalate in Yangon, Myanmar, on Friday (Feb 26).

The unrest, which saw live ammo fired to disperse crowds, came almost one month after the military ousted former leader Aung San Suu Kyi from power and seized control of state operations.
