Thai elephant returns home from Sri Lanka for medical treatment

CCTV footage from onboard a cargo plane shows the ailing elephant Sak Surin as he returns home for medical treatment from Sri Lanka to Thailand today July 2.

The Asian elephant was bound for Chiang Mai province on the Russian Ilyushin Il-76 freighter. The plane too off from Sri Lanka and was due to land at around 2pm local time in Thailand.
