A 'strategic' dam in southern Ukraine has been blown up prompting evacuations as the deluge threatened nearby villages.
The 30-metre-tall Nova Kakhovka dam spanning the Dnipro River was destroyed on June 6 morning in what has been described by Ukrainian officials as an act of 'ecocide'.
