A Russian man is facing three years in prison for allegedly lighting a cigarette from an eternal flame war memorial.

The footage shows the local bent over the eternal flame and lighting his cigarette with it before moving his hand backwards and forwards over it in Serpukhov in Moscow Oblast, Russia, on May 7.
