Flash flood surges through road as mudslides kill at least 36 in Peru

At least 36 people died in landslides triggered by heavy rains in southern Peru on Monday.

Footage shows the moment a flash flood roared down a neighbourhood road in the Secocha sector of Camana in the Arequipa department on February 6. The torrent swept away mud and rocks as it surged in waves, terrifying onlookers who took shelter in balconies.
