Ukraine blasts through Russian front lines and retakes city of Balaklia in surprise push

This footage shows the Ukrainian flag flying high while three Ukrainian special forces soldiers from the Kraken Special Branch stand with their boots on the Russian flag in the freshly retaken city of Balaklia.

In the video, the Ukrainian soldier in the middle says (in Ukrainian): 'Mr President, Mr Commander-in-Chief, the city of Balaklia of the Kharkiv region has been taken under control, the order has been carried out. Kraken Special Branch of the Main Directorate of Intelligence September 8, 4:00 p.m. Glory to Ukraine!'
