Rescue teams in helicopters were dispatched to carry injured residents down from a cliff following an earthquake in China.

Video shows the Sichuan Fire Department's air division taking off from the earthquake's epicentre Luding County to fetch injured and elderly villagers who needed urgent medical attention on September 6. The residents were carried on stretchers down the treacherous terrain.
