This is the impressive moment a brave Russian cop 'skis' along the icy ground in his shoes while being dragged by a fleeing drink-driver before managing to steer the vehicle into a snowdrift.

The incident was filmed in the village of Morki in the district of Morkinsky in the western Russian republic of Mari El on February 8.
