Footage shows the deserted Airport Link railway station and train that connects central Bangkok with the country's main airport while it was eerily quiet during the Covid-19 coronavirus pandemic lockdown in July 2021. The train travels frequently between the capital city and Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK) in neighbouring Samut Prakan province and before the virus, was packed all day and with holidaymakers. But travel restrictions on tourists entering the Southeast Asia country left the connection empty for most of the week.
