This is the moment a group of tourists paddling in a rock pool had to flee as water suddenly gushed down a river in the Philippines.

Albert Lugay Agan had gone with his friends to Sipalay City in Negros Occidental on August 16 to enjoy a nature trip in the province. Video shows how they fled to dry land as a torrent of water came crashing down from the mountain stream above and almost swept them away.
