Myanmar protest erupts sparking Internet shutdown by military coup chiefs

Tens of thousands of people marched through Yangon, Myanmar, at the weekend to protest against the military coup.

Army chiefs reacted to the rally by closing Internet and phone connections across the capital on Saaturday (Feb 6) shortly after 11am local time before it was restored the next day at around 3pm local time.
