Sunflowers bloom attracting visitors during cool winter spell in Thailand

Tourists take selfies while enjoying the sunset in a field of sunflowers in bloom during the annual cool weather spell in central Thailand.

The flowers bloom for a couple of weeks every year when temperatures drop during winter - a brief seasonal respite from the sweltering tropical heat which passes 30 degrees Celsius for most of the year.
