Five were killed while dozens were injured after a military truck allegedly ran over anti-coup protesters in Yangon City, Myanmar.
The demonstrators were marching through the country's largest city on Sunday December 5, holding up banners and calling for freedom a day ahead of an expected verdict on civilian leader Aung San Suu Kyi, who has been detained since February 1 this year after the military staged a coup and placed Myanmar in a state of emergency.
