Bizarre 'alien worms' form wriggling mass in Thailand

This is the bizarre moment dozens of weird 'alien worms' converged and formed a single writhing mass in Thailand.

Footage shows the worms, which are actually fungus gnat larvae, crawling on the ground in Loei province on October 20. They piled on top of each other, appearing to merge into one creature with many undulating parts.
