An elderly stroke patient was rescued after her home was submerged in a flood during typhoon Conson in the Philippines.

Leonila Litargo, 58, retreated to the second floor as she suffered from weakness in her muscles while water swamped her shanty in Binan City, Laguna province on September 8.
