A landslide caused by Typhoon Chanthu blocked a highway tunnel in eastern China on Monday.
Mud and rocks fell from the mountainside near Siming Tunnel in Fenghua District, Zhejiang province on September 13, blocking the path to motorists. Local traffic authorities implemented a one-way traffic closure of the tunnel, from Xiaowangmiao Street towards Xikou town. Cleanup operations were ongoing and are expected to finish by tomorrow afternoon due to continuous rainfall in the area.
