Taliban soldiers claim weapons stash in Panjshir valley

Taliban fighters seized a weapons stash in Panjshir valley, the last enclave for anti-Taliban resistance in Afghanistan, as the Islamist militants tightened their grip in the rebellious region on Sunday.

The soldiers were seen on September 12 inspecting a cache of ammunition and weaponry left behind by the National Resistance Front (NRF) after the Taliban's invasion last week. Footage shows the depot filled with boxes of firearms and explosives in the hands of the jihadi extremists.
