Taliban cross Panjshir river to confront resistance fighters

Taliban soldiers crossed a river in Panjshir, one of Afghanistan's smallest provinces, as they surrounded the last remaining bastion of resistance forces in the country.

Footage shows the militants wading through the water in the rocky mountainside, attempting to confront anti-Taliban groups on September 2.
