This is the harrowing moment an Afghan baby was passed along crowds as people desperate to flee from Taliban rule flocked to a Kabul airport on Wednesday.

Footage shows the child being held aloft and carried towards the barbed entrance of the Hamid Karzai International Airport while locals crowded each other outside on August 18.
