Footage shows shopping malls this afternoon (July 9) as strict new Covid-19 measures were announced for Bangkok, Thailand.

Ministers hope that a surged in infections - with 9,276 recorded today along with 72 deaths - can be reduced across the country before tourists are due to return in October.
