Iceland volcano eruption finally fizzles out

A volcano in Iceland that began erupting on March 16 is slowing down, officials said.
White smoke could be seen rising from the fissure near the town of Grindavik in southwest Iceland on May 8. Though no active lava flows were visible, embers still smouldered within the crevices as the eruption fizzled out.
