Taiwan earthquake throws books from shelves
Published date: Wed, 03 Apr 2024 10:14:09 +0700Dramatic footage shows books being thrown from shelves as a home shook violently during an earthquake in the Xizhi district of Taipei, Taiwan, this morning.
The quake struck at around 7.58 am local time off the east coast of the country sparking tsunami warnings, the U.S. Geological Survey reported. The epicentre was around 18 kilometers (11 miles) south of the city of Hualien.
