Thailand to ban party that won election with plans to reform lese majeste laws

Footage shows the Office of the Election Commission of Thailand today, March 11, as the state-run body announced plans to dissolve the party that won the country's general election last year.

Officials have submitted plans urging the Constitutional Court to banish the popular Move Forward Party, which received the majority of votes in a national poll on May 14, 2023.
