Passengers leave an eerily quiet Siem Reap International Airport in Cambodia today as staff prepare to move to a new Chinese-funded remote location away from the city.
The quaint airport - just a short ride from the ancient Khmer temples of the Angkor kingdom - will cease operations on October 16. Planes will immediately be re-routed to the new runways of Siem Reap Angkor International Airport around 60 km away, or 90 minutes by car.
