Magnitude 5.2 earthquake strikes Davao Oriental, Philippines

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the queak struck 43 kilometres southeast of Governor Generoso town in Davao Oriental province in the southern island of Mindanao at 8:57 am local time at a depth of 39 kilometres.
