Tourists stranded on mountain peak when thunderstorm strikes in China

A group of sightseeing tourists were trapped on top of a mountain when a sudden thunderstorm swept down the peak in China.

Torrential rain turned the steps up the mountain into a waterfall, and lightning flashes threatened to strike the crowds that were packed on the observation platform at the top as they waited for the chance to get back down to the valley.
