A heartbroken man knelt outside his ex-girlfriend's office for a whole day in the rain in the hope she would feel sorry for him and take him back.

The distraught lover attracted a large crowd of curious passersby as he kneeled in the street outside his ex's workplace in Dazhou, in China's southwestern Sichuan province for an incredible 21 hours.
