Russian Boeing 767 aborts landing to perform go-around at Phuket airport

A Boeing 767 arriving from Russia aborted its landing to perform a go-around at the Phuket International Airport in Thailand this morning.

Flight AZV2989 operated by Azur Air from Khabarovsk (KHV) with hundreds of passengers onboard quickly pulled up seconds before touching down. It circled once and then successfully landed on the second attempt.
