A staggering 750,000 cubic metres of earth have been excavated in a bid to reach 10 miners trapped in a collapsed and flooded mine since August.
The collapse took place in a mine near the city of Sabinas, in the northern Mexican state of Coahuila, which borders the United States, on Sunday, August 3.
