US and South Korea join forces for show of sea power

This is how the US and the South Korean Navy are strengthening their military alliance with a warning shot across the bows of rogue neighbour Kim Jong-un.

The joint military exercise by the allies' navies - dubbed the Maritime Counter Special Operations exercise (MCSOFEX) - is set to last until October 20.
