Heavy rain that fell into the early hours of Sunday morning caused deadly flooding in Freetown, the port city and capital of Sierra Leone in West Africa.
At least six people were reportedly killed by the floods and landslides. The fatalities occurred when a mudslide destroyed two adjacent houses located on a steep slope in the hills above the Kissy neighbourhood.
