Schoolgirl, 14, hangs herself after being expelled 'because she couldn't afford to pay fees'

A 14-year-old schoolgirl in Thailand hanged herself after she was allegedly expelled for having financial and family problems.

Plokkwan Rasuso was found dead in her home in Songkhla province last Friday, May 13. Her friends told officers that the girl had been struggling to pay for schooling at Satri Phatthalung School in Phatthalung province as her mother was reportedly addicted to gambling.
